I dipped my toes...err, fingers...into the world of Twitter. It's an interesting concept, like a streamlined Facebook, but I basically decided that unless you are a celebrity or one of those people with 3,000 Facebook friends who also use Twitter, Twitter is basically just celebrity stalking. I don't think Jake Pavelka from The Bachelor cares that I'm sitting at home watching PBS with my daughter. And as I read through his tweets, I wonder why I care that he is getting ready to go have lunch in Malibu. I don't think Danny Gokey is going to run over to Chick fil A because I decided that's what I'm having for lunch. And do I really need to know that he's out getting a pedicure? And then there's the generous Twitter-ers like David Crowder Band, who follow you once you start following them. Yay! David Crowder Band reads my tweets...or do my tweets even hit their radar when they are also following 52,703 other people?
I saw another tweet (irony!) that pretty much summed it up - "Facebook is where you follow your friends. Twitter is where you follow the people you wish were your friends."

Hi, my name is...
Hi.
My name is Laura.
The people who know me best will tell you that my middle name should be changed to "late."
I'm late to parties. Late to movies. Late to work. And, worst yet, late with birthday presents.
I apparently run on my own clock...which undoubtedly is broken.
So since only my best of friends are reading this, it should come as no surprise that I haven't written a post in over a month!
But late is better than never right?
Here's a quick recap of the last month...

Ok so I should be throwing some Easter pictures in there as well, but, you know, it just wouldn't be me if I actually posted something within a reasonable timeframe of it occurring. But, fingers crossed, I'll have pictures up soon!
