When I made a baby registry, I remember going through a list from Babies R Us that tells you all the stuff you "need." I remember thinking "what is all this?!" The reality is that you don't actually need much. You need somewhere for the baby to sleep safely. You need some clothes. And you need diapers and wipes. And more diapers and wipes. And even more diapers and wipes. But yes, there is a lot of stuff that makes things easier!! And that's what this post is about. Two things I've come across in the past few weeks that I LOVE. Love enough to tell you that if you have a baby, are about to have a baby, or know someone with a baby, take note. These will make good things to add to a registry and to add to a gift for a preggers friend.
1. I Play Babywear Swimsuit
There is a diaper built in to the swimsuit! Built in swim diaper = no need to buy any other swim diapers. You can wash the swim diaper, let it dry and reuse! I was skeptical. So I put a swim diaper under the bathing suit. We went to the pool. We swam, we splashed, we played. We came home. I took the swimsuit off. The other swim diaper that was underneath the swim suit was TOTALLY dry. Like water hadn't even touched it. I was impressed. However, I would make sure the suit really fits. You obviously wouldn't want one too loose...or too tight. But seriously, click the link above and order one. Now.
Kaitlyn can "scrub scrub" herself. The soap has this casing on it that allows the entire bar to be used and it doesn't slip out of your hands. One less thing for Mom to do. Enough said.
Disclaimer: Just to be clear, these are my own opinions. I Play and J&J did not compensate me for this post although if they'd like to send me a package of free products, I'd be happy to provide my address. I'd be happy with just a few coupons.

Those swim diapers look super cute and great idea. We are going to be trying out the pool for the first time this week. But your so right we put so much crap on our baby registry. I would totally do things different if I had a redo button.
